About the artist
A refined etcher, but also a watercolourist, Maria Pignacca settled in Milan after numerous trips to Latin America. In 1980 she was first in the tenth edition of the Bugatti-Segantini prize. In 1984 she won first prize in the second edition of the A. Durini foundation competition.
