Born in Calabria, Marasco moved to Florence. There attended the Accademia di Belle Arti. He joined the Futurist Movement by 1913 and in 1914 he followed Filippo Tommaso Marinetti in his trip to Russia, meeting the artists of the Russian Futurism: Malevi?, Larioniov, Majakovskj. Back in Florence, he met Umberto Boccioni and Giacomo Balla. In 1932 he founded in Florence the Gruppi futuristi di iniziative. In the 1940s he turned towards the recovery of descriptive figuration to arrive, at the end of the 1950s, to a precocious informal experience. In the 1960s he adhered to the declaration-manifesto of Futurismo-oggi promoted by Enzo Benedetto and participated in the exhibitions organized by the group.
