Oddone Tomasi studied at the Scuola Reale Elisabettina in Rovereto, which formed also artists such as Garbari, Depero, Cainelli, Baldessari, Bonazza and Melotti. He completed his artistic training at the Academy of Vienna, between 1905 and 1913. Tomasi's art was influenced by the Viennese Secession, blended with elements of the late Romanticism and with an Expressionist vein.
