Giuseppe Galli was a painter of genre scenes and portraits of considerable technical skills.
After a first apprenticeship in his hometown, Vercelli, he studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin under Carlo Felice Biscarra. His early career was devoted to watercolors, and in 1917 he was appointed honorary member of the Accademia di Brera. Since 1920 he leaved his job to devote himself to painting.
