Monotype, printed in black ink on thin wove paper. Dated, titled and signed in pen ' Venezia 925 / attesa / Petrella da Bologna'. With margins, a water stain at bottom, toned; otherwise in good condition. To the platemark 300 x 390 mm. The entire sheet measuring 410 x 500 mm.

Vittorio Petrella Da Bologna was an Italian painter, draftsman and illustrator. He is considered a representative of Italian Futurism but he also worked with other styles of painting. His subjects ranged from landscapes to people and fantastic designs. In the 1920s he joined the group of artists who gathered at the Caffè Fiorio in Turin.
