Born to a poor family, as a young man Bresciani moved to Milan where he worked as a carpenter, while also attending the Brera Academy, under the guidance of Cesare Tallone. He had friendly relations with other important artists such as Boccioni, CarrĂ  and Malerba and began to exhibit as a painter in Milan, in 1905. Over the years Bresciani exhibited his works at the Permanente, at the Roman 'Biennale Nazionale di Belle Arti'. In 1930 he participated the Venice Biennale with two works.
