Etching, 1938, Dragone 121. A fine impression of the second state, printed in black ink on wove paper. Signed in pencil Cino Bozzetti and titled la vacca che mugge. Full margins, minor faults in the margins, generally in very good condition. To the platemark 195 x 275 mm, the entire sheet measuring 325 x 405 mm.

Bozzetti was one of the most important Italian etchers of the early twentieth century. He studied in Turin and his paintings and prints have been influenced by Piedmontese nineteenth century painters of landscape and pastoral subjects, as Antonio Fontanesi and Vittorio Avondo. Bozzetti exhibited in Turin, Florence, Rome, Bruxelles, Geneve, London, Venice, Paris. In 1949 Carlo Alberto Petrucci organized a large exhibition of Bozzetti's etchings at the Calcografia Nazionale in Rome.
