Bozzetti was one of the most important Italian etchers of the early twentieth century. He studied in Turin and his paintings and prints have been influenced by Piedmontese nineteenth century painters of landscape and pastoral subjects, as Antonio Fontanesi and Vittorio Avondo. Bozzetti exhibited in Turin, Florence, Rome, Bruxelles, Geneve, London, Venice, Paris. In 1949 Carlo Alberto Petrucci organized a large exhibition of Bozzetti's etchings at the Calcografia Nazionale in Rome.
