Complete series of 24 etchings representing the graphic work of Carlo Erba, in the original editorial folder (630 x 460 mm). Contains 8 papers with title page, biography, list of works and edition. The posthumous edition was edited by the Archivio Carlo Erba in 1984, on the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to the artist at the Palazzo della Permanente in Milan. It was printed by Edizioni del Torcoliere. The edition was 50 copies. Each print is numbered and titled in pencil and bears the embossed stamp of the Archivio. The prints of our edition are numbered 11/50. The etching were printed on sheets of 600x450 mm strong laid paper with watermark Fabriano.

The heir, as first born son, of the pharmaceutical industry bearing his name, Carlo Erba, after contrasts with his father, preferred to study Art and in 1908 he enrolled the Scuola Libera del Nudo at the Brera Academy, earning a living by himself, with no help from his rich family. In 1914 he was one of the founders of the group Nuove Tendenze, considered as the right wing of Futurism. A staunch interventionist, Carlo Erba together wit his futurist friends Marinetti, Boccioni, Funi, Sant'Elia, Russolo and Sironi, joined the Battaglione Lombardo Volontari Ciclisti Automobilisti. He died in 1917 during a war attack on Monte Ortigara.
